    Alex:I would recommend against "stealing the edit lock" as it will lead to the changes being lost of the stealee. the "edit lock" is a nice feature of PBWiki, other wiki's i've tried do allow more than one person to edit the same page at the same time, which often leads to an "edit conflict" forcing a rollback.
