I am in reader(in what little spare time I have)but I'll sve thoughts  and idea's on books for a later date.(On my laptop, up north, sitting beside the lake or a good roaring fire, where the world will let me think for a minute)

   Heh! I like these little smiley guys! Playing around, finding all of this new technology interesting but I'm trying to buzz through week 4 in order to ctch up with the class. Life at Mac has not allowed time to play around on the computer or keep up with all the readings.  Life at home with 3 daughters on y allows for time between 12P.M. and 6A.M.Did I mention that Week 3 was completed  at 1A.M. from home? Noooooo Pressure! Told you I like these little smiley guys and symbols.

   I will be exploring Wik Wik Whats? in the very near future as I've been informed all our procedures for Circ and Reserve will be on the Wik Whats. Guess we're about to learn fast! It's now 11:45P.M. and I'll attemp to attach this somewhere. Wait! I have to go back to Amanda's email and figure out how. I'll probably lose all this in the attempt. Are we having fun yet? Trying, trying, trying. Oh ya, by the way its May 1st, mabey 2nd now, and I'm only at week 4 (anyone else out there on overload?)

  Amanda, your amazing at all this stuff, but I can't help but wonder how much sleep your getting.

I was however. able to gloat a bit when my daughter was talking about facebook, and blogs and I new what she was talking about for a change.Unfortunatley they had nothing positive to say about them.(Can't chat ya know!)

Interesting, 17-19 group apparently think thier useless and who cares about blogs, people only want to have one to talk about themselves!and does the rest of the world really care?Oh to be 17 again!They obviously have not connected to the educational benefits of any of this new technology yet. On the other hand none of them know how to reasearch any more either. I have high hopes for grade 12 Wikis, ya, they know about them, but apparently in the teenage world  and schools they've become  a huge headache.(People editing other peoples stuff and causing all kinds of havoc!) When I mentioned to the little groupies how we will be using Wikis for procedures all will have access to, the reply was that we had better hope no one messes with them! Scary...do they believe the whole world is into sabotage? Heh, where's the spell check etc?
